Welcome to our April spotlight. We've got an exciting roundup of new features and improvements this month!

From visualizing object movements in new ways to improving your search capabilities, we're bringing you features that make your work smoother. Plus, we're adding RGB pointclouds for enhanced visualization and a brand new Quality Tab to help you track and improve quality.

More details below 👇

Trajectory projections to visualize object movement

You can now view 2D projections of your 3D box trajectories, making it easier than ever to understand object movement patterns and validate your annotations.

Simply navigate to View → Projections → Selected Trajectory (2D) in the top menu to see how your selected object moves across the scene. This feature is particularly valuable for users working with 3D box sequences, helping you spot potential trajectory errors quickly using the 2D camera view.

RGB Pointclouds

You now have the option to visualize point cloud data with RGB colors, making it especially valuable when working with structure from motion data derived from images.

Simply open any scene or task containing RGB data in the drawing tool, and you'll notice a new point cloud coloring option.

Omnibar to search Kognic in seconds

Our popular Omnibar is now available to all users with management access! This search tool allows you to quickly find and navigate to Projects, Requests, Scenes, and Users within your workspace.

The Omnibar streamlines workflow for power users by providing instant access to the resources you need. Whether you're a project manager, team lead, or workspace admin, you can now enjoy faster navigation through search.

Quality Tab on the User Productivity page

This addition helps both annotators and quality managers analyze errors in detail, with comprehensive breakdowns by type, feedback logs, and timestamps.

The new tab provides clear visibility into error patterns, feedback history, and improvement opportunities. Annotators can now easily identify their most common error types, while Quality Managers get valuable insights for targeted coaching and progress tracking.
